I wonder if these Valentines are the 2021 design since they don't feature the new G5 ponies?  I didn't see any G5 Valentines.

OMG, I was JUST THERE and I didn't see most of this! All I saw was the 'make your own' valentines set, which I got! (I also found some super-cute kissing plush zebras, those were adorable!)

Found the Basic Fun Twinkle Eyes for $13 each at my local Ace Hardware! They had about 3 of each except for Gingerbread, who had 2. I went ahead and grabbed Gingerbread and I'll probably be back for the others.

The Ace by me is owned by a local family, and its pretty unusual for an Ace. In addition to the standard hardware stuff they have a lot of grills and grilling stuff (which might be normal for an ace, idk), a large farm section, a post office, a fudge/Blue Bell ice cream shop, a large section dedicated to housewares and stuff made by smaller local companies, and a very impressive Breyer horse section. That's the main the reason I go, lol - they're my main Breyer dealer.

Oh I wanted to mention this cute MLP book I found at Books-a-million, where I work!

I was particularly interested in it because it's an original story, it's not just a retelling of the movie.

It's aimed at very young readers, probably ages 4-5. It's very short. It takes place after the movie ends, and I was relieved to see that Sunny's alicorn status at the end of the movie doesn't seem to be permanent, although it left her with a rainbow stripe in her mane, I guess?

The plot is that Sunny is feeling sad because she misses her dad (already I was intrigued by them tackling something so serious!) and Izzy decides to spend the day cheering her up. They do all of Izzy's favorite things (like recycling, and making arts and crafts), but at the end Sunny is still a little sad. Izzy realizes that she did all her favorite things and not Sunny's favorite things! Izzy apologizes and Sunny says "That's okay, spending time with you is also one of my favorite things" (which I thought was super cute!) and then the book ends with them going roller-blading. I thought it was a good message for little kids.

I hope the Sunny lantern shows up at Walmart as well. I don't have a Target close by, and I'd rather not order it off Amazon.

The new Pop Mart figures are on Amazon now. I just ordered a 3 pack. Hopefully my luck will be better with these than with the Naturals series.

I'm very excited about the Applejack and Fluttershy, as both of them are ones I was hoping for. The Twilight... not so much. I'll probably end up trading her, along with my Rainbow Dash from the Naturals series.
