* Let's make art together * 2 - Gardening and harvests !

Hi everyone !

I hope I didn't make you wait for too long for this new art prompt thread. ^^' I have fun making these and I already have a draft for the third installment.
Please, don't forget to post some feedback, I want to make these better !

1. Summer themed

This one is about gardening and harvest season. I'm sure there are many Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and IRL gardening enthusiasts in this forum, so with the delightful summer days we're having, I figured it would be quite inspiring to make art about it.



Here are the guidelines :

- Every art is accepted !! Whether it's a traditional painting, digital drawing, a photograph or a sculpture, show us what you love making !
- Every level is accepted ! Just have fun, it's not a competition. =)
- There is no time limit, you can post your art whenever you want on this topic.
- You can make multiple pieces. The more we can look at, the better. ♥
- You drawing/picture has to include at least one of the selected ponies. You can add more characters (selected or no) or just a solo picture, everything is fine.
- The selected playset is just a fun option, you have no obligation to include it. =)
- Your drawing doesn't have to include a background if you don't want to.

Sugarberry
Imagine tasting home grown strawberries, whether they would be fresh or in a dessert. How wonderful !

Petal Blossom
She looks like a quiet gardener and I think her coral mane looks great on her dark lilac coat. She is a pretty pony in her simplicity.

Azalea Bloom
The most beautiful gardens are home to the Breezies, because they feel more comfortable in the most peaceful and colorful places. They take care of the small lives all around them and make the world a better place.

Autumn Crisp
The end of July is certainly not at the brink of Fall, but I think she perfectly fits the theme and I perfectly picture her in a wheat field, with her blonde hair glowing under the hash summer sun, listening to cicadas, seeing how her crops are doing and picking some poppies along the way to decorate her living room.

Roseluck
The expert of flowers herself ! She tends a flower shop with her friends. She makes the prettiest bouquets that brighten up your day.

Bloomin' Blossoms Shop !
I imagine walking around that local store, it is quiet inside, you meet your village's friends, have a little chat with them while picking up the produce of the farms and workshops settled close to your house. You know where these come from and you know how much care has been put into each ingredient and supplies. That inspires you to cook the best dinner possible for all the friends you've invited at your home.

That is so pretty and creative, Fizzy Scrumptious! I love the animated poses of Roseluck and Autumn Crisp, the scene makes me feel like I should be able to hear their conversation if I just tried a little harder, haha.

Thank you so much Rose! I'm so happy you like what I came up with. I love these posts, you include so many ideas and little descriptions that really get the creative juices flowing. I might draw something else for this post because I never drew the Breezie, but we'll see.

Fizzy - Your art is so impressive! I love how lively it feels.
Safflower - Sugarberry looks so sweet, I especially love how you stylized her blush.

I got some Prismacolors and want to take them a bit seriously, so here's my wack at it.
I can't say I'm fully impressed with myself but gotta start somewhere.

@Tailrustedtealeaf : Your little Breezie is awesome. She looks adorable. Color pencils are really hard. I rarely use them other than combined with other media or it's just for a quick concept on my sketch book. You did well. =)

@Fizzy Scrumptious : I'm happy you like my little descriptions. Giving inspiration is totally their purpose and I'm happy it works out well. Even though I might not be inspired to draw, I'm at least inspired to write a little something for people's art. =)


I really like the art you're making. It sparks me joy.
