Favourite princess pony?

You all make me want to read the comics now...they sound more interesting than the show ever was. Wish we had had them here in the states.

I like the UK names for the princesses better; they are easier to remember, as they are color-coordinated to the ponies' body colors, and being jewel names, perfect for royalty. They just make more sense than the human names.

Hey, only Tiffany and Serena have human-sounding names. And in fairness, "Tiffany" is also the name of a sheer fabric, as well as another name for Chantilly lace; I think the latter is the intended reference because lace is usually white (and it's associated with noble and royal clothing).

Also Dawn, and I do know a Misty as well. Although they are also a noun and an adjective (and probably the intended reference as well). I did not know that about Tiffany...just that it is a jewelry store and a girls name! Chantilly would have been a good pony name too, now that you mention it.

Oops, forgot about those. I tend to forget some of the 2nd set names. That and in context, Misty's name makes me think of weather magic because it sounds similar to Gusty (another unicorn with a weather-derived name).

I really love Princess Taffeta, too bad that my own has a baity body (her head and hair are perfect) and sadly the prices on eBay are utopic *sigh*
