Have you got any good recipes to try?
« on: July 16, 2020, 11:48:11 AM »
I've never been much for cooking, but I should learn more - and I've always loved to bake. Would love some yummy (and maybe easy to follow) recipes to try ... plus perhaps some tips and tricks?  :P

Something from the my little pony baking book perhaps? I haven't tried anything yet but some recipes look very easy to bake.

And for the really lazy cooks I would say the 5 ingredients book from Jamie Oliver.  I made italian tomato bread soup and flapjacks, sort of oatmeal/nuts cookies.

Last night I made meatball braid bread (saw it on Tik Tok)
https://www.iheartpublix.com/2017/08/italian-meatball-braid-easy-delicious-meal-cooked-perfect-meatballs-save-publix/
This is a basic recipe, just to give you an idea of how to do it! I brushed the whole thing with minced garlic and melted butter and sprinkled it with parmesean before baking. Simple and easy, served with salad.
