This doesn't mean anything to me (although I did hear it before) because you are what sign you are born under, not just when someone reinvents the star system.
What starberry said basically.
My mother had a really detailed astrological reading done when I was born, just for kicks. She then promptly lost it for about 25 years. But when she eventually found it again so many things in it were weirdly true. I don't really put a lot of stock in star signs but that really got me.
But it's not just about your overall sign but other factors as well. I was born pisces (just) but I had elements in capricorn and libra as well. I think my ascendant is libra and my venus is in capricorn. And my sun and moon are in Pisces.
The Chinese zodiac is based on something else completely. In fact, the Chinese one was also used to tell the time in ancient China and old Japan, because it nicely splits the day up into 2 hour slots...
@Orangepeachmango - if you don't look at it too carefully that almost looks like an aerial map of the US with some interstate highlighted across it xD.
Also, tbh looking at that map you'd more think that it would carve Scorpio in two and remove a chunk of it, rather than being intersected equally into the sequence.
Final note, for anyone not from the UK who is not familiar:
The Sun is a trashy tabloid paper and frankly I'd sooner use it to fuel a bonfire.
