Has MLP ever made you laugh?

I’m actually quite curious if My Little Pony’s content has made anyone laugh before? I know that everyone has a different sense of humor, and maybe MLP’s type of humor doesn’t strike your funny bone...or maybe it does. Personally, I cannot recall anything from any gen making me laugh. I’ve cracked some smiles here and there...maybe a chuckle at a line from Pony Life, of all things, but nothing significant or noteworthy. (However, There have been many Tumblr posts that have me in utter hysterics and tears, that I do wish at times that future MLP gens were left in the hands of Tumblr users as writers)

Has any pony content made you guys laugh? If it hasn’t, then why do you think that is?

Actually yes. I recently watched the G1 movie for the first time since I was a kid a few months ago and when the scene came on when the witches were singing the smooze song and the smooze itself started singing in a really deep bass voice, I busted up laughing. Maybe it was more the memory of watching it as a kid and thinking that part was hilarious, I don't know.

Also the part in the movie when the witch sisters go after the phlume and they attack that bulbous plant...something about the sound the phlume made when it was spurting out all over the place. Again though, not sure if I would have found it so funny if I were watching it for the first time ever as an adult...it might just be the memory of my 8-year-old self's sense of humor.

I don't really remember anything specific that made me laugh but I have chuckled at the g1 and g4 shows before.

I've definitely laughed plenty of times while watching FiM Some of the jokes are great!

FiM definitely has some clever/funny jokes every now and then. Even some of the G3 animations slipped in a joke or a line every so often that would make me chuckle. Largely depends on one's sense of humor, though.

I'm sure it has, and if it hasn't I at least found it funny.  Mostly with G3 and G4 - I need to check on G1, as it's been a while.

I see my sense of humor as rather skewed, so it can be tricky to get me to laugh out loud.
Therefore, I can only name a few times MLP has got me to burst in laughter.

The madness in "Applebuck Season" is a classic. I remember rewatching that baking scene multiple times.

I got some good laughs out of "Maud Pie". Her dry humor clashes so well with the main cast's wild antics.

Now while I think the FiM episode "Tanks for the Memories" is very flawed with its drama, I actually found it quite funny, both for the right and wrong reasons. That whole crying scene near the end just made me cackle in disbelief.

I also remember grinning a lot while watching Pinkie suffer in "The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows."   

And call me shallow all you want, but I found Spike's impromptu anthem performance in "Equestria Games" to be really funny. Kudos to Cathy Weseluck.   

As for anything outside of FiM, the only scene I can recall getting a laugh out of me was the Tales episode "Ponies in Paradise". I enjoy some dark humor. 

And I guess some of the slapstick with the Witches from the Volcano of Gloom in My Little Pony 'n Friends was good.

The goofs in My Little Pony n friends
