Non pony species- what is your favorite?

Dragons specifically the G4 ones though I've always liked Spike except for  his G3 design. The non Spike dragons in G1 when Spike journeyed to find others of his kind were gross looking bullies...which the teenage gang in G4 are gross looking bullies too but there are plenty of other dragons like Dragon Lord Ember, Smolder and the red sleeping dragon in season 1 who have awesome designs.

The Princess Pony dragons in G1 are nothing like the ones in the animation though. They have proper personalities and traits and are much more relatable.

The animation does some things very badly in G1. Dragons is one of them. Princess ponies is another. The comic handles both much better.

Ultimate favourite is Cha Cha! Just fabulous looking with that sassy expression. Hope I can get her one day.
