Custom outfits and gear for Megan (incl. Castlevania and more)

I decided to make a Simon Belmont outfit and accessories for my Megan doll.

First thing I'm working on is the Vampire Killer whip in its morningstar form.

Most of the accessories will be based on their Castlevania I appearance, but I decided to make the Vampire Killer's handle a simplified version of its appearance in Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate.

I have some progress on the Castlevania accessories (albeit not as much as I'd like), but I've yet to take pics. Sorry.

However, I do have something else to show. I decided to turn this into a general thread for custom outfits and gear for my Megan doll since this is hardly the only thing I have planned.

So, today I made a lasso for Megan, using cotton twine.

Had a bit of a hiccup in the process, made the original handle loop too small. So I took a smaller length of twine, tied that into a honda-knotted loop (a honda knot is a common lasso knot, so it's the same knot I used for the big loop) and then tied that piece to the original handle loop. Problem solved.

Thanks! I'm surprised and pleased I was able to get Megan to stand on her own for that, but it worked!

Work in progress Cross Boomerang, and unpainted spikeball tip for the Vampire Killer. Now if I could find where the rest of the whip had got to (it wasn't in the box I was setting the pieces in )

And a cheap, hand-drawn paper overlay for Megan's dress to let her cosplay as Princess Zelda, along with a matching diadem. It's not even complete right now, there's no back, but it's something I put effort into so I wanted to show it.

I-it's nowhere near as good as the dress on your Princess Zelda pony.. It's just a cheap hand-drawn-and-colored paper overlay for her stock dress, and it doesn't even have a back right now. It's being hold on by her arms being at her sides in that pic.. And I'll have to rework how the paldrons are attached to allow her arms to actually move while she's in it.
