Sorry for the click bait title, but I just had to post these girls, who have been prepped to have their fur scrubbed and then take some time to have a little bask in the sun;

I had to take a picture, as they look ridiculous 

I do have a serious question though, what should I use to cover up the purple streaks on the wings? Cut out strips of tape I suppose? the wings are pretty grungy, so I have to wash them first before covering anything up. My plan was to scrub them first with a baking soda solution and toothbrush, wipe/rinse them down, and then have them air dry out in the sun, see if I cant get them sparkling again.

Anyone ever 'sunfade' a softie and can give me any advice? Thanks in advance!

iv never heard of sun fading a plushy, i think it is just a vinyl thing, however a good old scrub with a stain-remover....or gentle if the purple comes of, i use Wonder soap, its amazing i use it on my sosofts and they come up a treat. not sure if you have it where you are though.

They are quite peaceful 
I couldn't find anything about using sun to make plush animals whiter, but I'm basing my decision on the laundry principle; if you want your whites to stay white, using baking soda/ lemon juice in the wash and line drying out in the sun works wonders!
Doesn't look like we have Wonder soap up here in the stores, but sold on Amazon.  It looks to be similar to Zout, which I swear gets any stain out!

Lol, surprisingly no. I like the cups better. The Reese’s Pieces loving aliens are the next planet over.
