It's been a long time! G3 price checks
« on: May 21, 2020, 09:09:13 PM »
Hiya Ponies! It's been a looooong time and this old-timer is thrilled to see that the community is still active. Shelter in place has given me the time to catalog my entire collection and I'm out of touch with a lot of pricing. Can you help me with the following G3s? All are MIP/mint.

 - LS Pinkie Pie
 - Rosey Posey
 - World in Advance first 50 pieces sparkle and rainbow ponies
 - Bay Breeze
 - Black Pony Project Pony
 - 2007 Superhero Comicon Pony
 - 2008 US and Euro Fair Ponies
 - 2009 Fair Pony Peacock Pony

Thanks for your help and excited to be back!

I bough a few World in advance ponies off of eBay about a year ago for $30-40 USD. I do not see them up very often.
For the 2009 Fair pony Peacock MIB would probably go for 75+USD.
For a MIP Bay Breeze goes for anywhere in the $100-200 USD.
I have not seen a Rosey Posey in a while but as she is so HTF maybe 220-500 USD price range.
I have based this on what I have seen sell on eBay but if anything is wrong, please feel free to correct me!

Welcome back!  :)

LSPP doesn't come up often, in my experience, so I'm not sure about her. I actually just got incredibly lucky and BIN'ed her for $25.

I paid around $150-180 (can't remember exactly) for my MIP Bay Breeze about eight years ago and a similar price for a loose Rosey Posey around the same time. Values have been down but are increasing with childhood G3 lovers reaching adulthood and entering the collecting community.

First 50 ponies are going for $30-40, more for the first six from 2003. I paid around $60-70 for Kimono last year.

I paid $40 for MIP Black Project Pony a few months ago, again, a lucky eBay find. I probably paid three times that amount for her loose around 2011-2012. There are currently several listed on eBay that have been there for awhile, but that could also be due to COVID-19 income loss.
