POTD 5/20/2020 Mimic

Thanks for the "likes"  Majesty-to-Mimic was a fun project, and much less expensive than the "real thing" haha!

I do have her. Shes a prety one. I like her parrot symbol. I always giggle when I go to the webpage "church of the mimic." I just love that unicorn pose I wish there were more of that pose. My mimic was a gift also.

Ah, Mimic.

Love her green hues (I adore Buttons, green Tootsie etc), hate her commanding price, though! 

Last year I had a very baity, spotty Majesty that I transformed into my interpretation of Mimic (never seeing one in-the-flesh) and for now, this satisfies my "gotta get her" itch.

I painted many thin layers of craft acrylic upon her body. At one stage she was too yellow (I made a post about it and published progress photos, it was agreed that her colour wasn't quite there yet, so she was repainted more greeny.

I never would have guessed! A lot of times it seems like painted ponies come out shiny (at least in photographs), but she looks like she came out of the factory this color! You are quite talented.

I am so happy to say that I do have this girl in my collection! Took years to get her!
