I don’t know if this has been done before, but what Disney/non Disney songs make you cry? This includes instrumental music and sad game music

The songs that make me cry are:

Baby Mine (Dumbo cartoon)
Someone’s waiting to love you (The Rescuers)
Very Good Advice (Alice in Wonderland)
Somewhere reprise (West Side Story)
When She Loved Me (Toy Story 2)
All I Want (Songs of the South)
Gus the Theatre Cat (Cats 1998) the reason is because it was the last film Sir John Mills starred in.
Goodbye May Seem forever (Fox and the Hound)
Absolutely Green (Troll in Central Park only because of the anniversary of Dom Deluise on May the Fourth)
Soon reprise (Thumbelina)
The music that plays when Little Foot sees his mother die (Land Before Time)
The Swamp of Sadness (Never Ending Story)
Lily’s Theme (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2)
Nearer My God To Thee (Titanic)
The music that plays when Sora says goodbye to Kairi (Kingdom Hearts)

"Hands That Built America" from Gangs of New York, especially the instrumental intro played during the final scene with the New York skyline evolving in the background while the tombstones in the foreground slowly become overgrown and forgotten. One of the most powerful movie endings I've ever seen, and only gets stronger the older I get.

I can't believe I forgot to mention that one. It's so sad.

Another non Disney one for me is "Once There was the Sun" from Thumbelina

I think "Baby Mine" was written with the express purpose of making people cry.
"God Bless the Outcasts" from Hunchback of Notre Dame
"When Somebody Loved Me" from Toy Story 2

I'm an Air Force Brat so most patriotic songs get to me, too.

Do instrumental pieces count? Because I'm currently on a 90s movie soundtrack marathon and there are two tracks that particularly did it for me, "Brooks Was Here" from The Shawshank Redemption and "Coffey on the Mile" from The Green Mile.

I love the version of Baby Mine by a famous singer, I can't remember her name.  A youtube video I used to watch put the song on a video with a baby kitten named Tater Tot with hydrocephalus(spelling).  It was a cute, moving video, and then at the end, it says Tater Tot died.  Oh, my heart!

Ponyfan, you mentioned the Muppets, I get teary eyed at "Saying Goodbye" in the Muppets Take Manhattan.  I can't remember the song, but I think Jim Henson's Follow That Bird had a good sad song.

When She Loved Me is a good one.

I'll have to think of some others.

I don’t really listen to a lot of music, but one that will make me tear up is the music “Married life” from Pixar’s UP. It’s such a beautiful melody, and it’s put with wonderful animation. You can truly see how much those two loved each other. Their whole married life in a few minutes and each minute and note is lovely. You experience the elation as they get married and fix up their house, the sadness at the fact they will never have children, and the joy they find in saving for their ultimate trip to paradise falls that keeps being put off due to unforeseen accidents like car repairs and a tree falling through the roof. We watch Ellie and Carl grow old, never loosing the loving smiles they give one another, Ellie never not doing Carl’s tie. He buys plane tickets in secret and takes her on a picnic to their favourite spot, hoping to surprise her...only she doesn’t make it all the way up the hill. She is sick, and is dying in the hospital. The song goes slow and quiet, allowing the viewer to feel and absorb the emotion of the scene. She hands him her most treasured possession, her adventure book, and while no words are spoken, the action says all. The next cut is presumably at her funeral, Carl sitting alone next to her casket. The muted and faint notes of the piano accompany the drab and washed out colours of the animation, and you feel the same sorrow as the old man who has lost the love of his life.
What about this makes me cry is because of the journey it takes you on. You see two young lovers go through their whole life together. A wonderful, beautiful life full of colour and beautiful moments, only for it to be cut a second too short. I feel like this struck a cord with me, as probably several other audience members. I saw the movie when it came out as a young girl. I didn’t quite understand then, but upon rewatching it later, I saw my grandparents. I saw their love, how they were. And I saw not Ellie in the hospital bed, but my grandfather. He passed from cancer much younger than Ellie did. And I’m sure everybody in the audiences who have watched it can relate to that. We all know how wonderful love looks like, and how terrible it is when it ends. And for me, that is why this song hits an emotional note. It’s relatable, and a beautiful sequence that wouldn’t have the same impact without the signature melody.
Apologies if I have answered your question with an essay. But I could go on about how wonderful this song is and how masterfully it is crafted to go with the animation. Kudos to the wonderful men and women who made the music and worked on the visuals. They managed to capture the beauty and experiences almost the entirety of a human life in a cartoon sequence with music lasting not even 4 minutes.
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

Xion's and Riku's themes from Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days and Re:Coded, respectively. I wouldn't say they make me cry, per se, though - just sad.

The one that does make me cry, however, is the theme that plays when Artreyu's horse gives up in The Neverending Story. It left quite an impression on nine year-old me when I first saw the movie, and I thought that over ten years later I'd have gotten over it. Nah. Still tear up every time.  The Lord of the Rings soundtrack gets me every now and then, too.

Music does not make me cry. I think I am broken, don't get me wrong I love Disney movies pre-2005.

How about "It was almost love" from the Muppet Christmas Carol video release?
