MLP x Ghostbusters, Power Rangers & Transformers crossover collection

I didn't see a topic for this on here yet, so excuse me if it was already shared.
Through an Amazon listing news got out that a crossover collection is coming this year, featuring MLP x Ghostbusters, Power Rangers and Transformers figures. They even got named already:

The listing got removed (or is very hidden), but we have the description as we were able to find through a Swedish crawler who picked it up when it was still online (which we also posted, including some of our thoughts, on https://www.mlpmerch.com/2020/05/my-little-pony-x-ghostbusters.html)

So, outside the board game licenses, Hasbro seems to finally get more creative with a mixture of their brands.

What an odd thing.. I guess it makes sense though, those IPs are all from the same-ish era. 

I already need the Ghostbusters pony though.  I hope it glows in the dark!


(This reminds me of Tubbz, if anyone has heard of those - "cosplaying rubber ducks", which imo were influenced by customized ponies.)

This is kinda giving me SDCC vibes? Maybe this was the planned exclusive?
I don't care for any of these franchises (well, aside from pony of course) but if the figures are cool they may sway me.

Huh. I never thought this would happen and yet it has. I think it’s an...okay idea. I don’t really care for power rangers or transformers. The only pony I would possibly want from this line is the ghostbuster pony. I’m not sure where the idea has come from or why, but okay. I’ll take t.

They mentioned it has a "retro" form. Does that mean they are going to use the molds from that retro set with the Mane 6?

Yeah Wardah that's what I was thinking too, they have that look of that retro mane 6 set. And if that's the case immediate pass

I'm just confused by this.

I mean, I had a transformer and some ghostbuster toys as a kid.  And I'll be honest, Ray still lives in the bottom of the cupboard with Hushabye and such because I lost his friends somewhere in the attic when sorting...

But a crossover...

I'd actually really like a Power Rangers pony, but also I'm biased because I like PR anyway. 

Not gonna lie, it is really weird though.

If it's in those weird "retro Mane 6" molds I won't buy it though. I really dislike those molds. They're in the uncanny valley for me, lol.

It does feel really pandery though, I cannot shake that fact.
