But After detangling for 2+ hours, I begin to realize I may have made a mistake!

My intention is/was to boil perm her.  After finishing, I'm not even sure this hair will hold a curl.

So, I ask you, pony peeps:
A) Curl it!
B) Cut it!
C) If it will not hold a curl, cut it
D) Leave it long and straight

The jury is in!  I dipped her 4x!  Boiling, cold, boiling, cold.  Now to let her sit a week before taking these bad boys out.

Not going to lie, that second pic made me laugh! I did not expect her hair to be that long! I vote to leave it straight and long, it’s too fabulous to cut!

Oh myyy....
I feel like you should at least TRY to curl it!  Such luxurious locks...  If you can do it and put her on display at once, hopefully the curls will stay decently.  And if that doesn't work out you can always use some nice conditioner and warm water and de-curl it and then decide all over again.

AH the second pic made me laugh out loud! Love it! I would say try curling it, if you have a clothes steamer I'd recommend that method since it sounds like this hair might not cooperate. If it doesn't take, don't cut it, maybe make several thinner braids?

Bwahahahahahahaaaaa!!! That's brilliant! I say curl it! I'm guessing you used an entire hank length on both mane and tail? I did this with my Lightning MB's tail and the curls are holding years later. I admit it was NOT a fun experience curling it and especially not fun getting the rods all back out again (I will use straws next time!) But, I loved how he turned out! This girl would be stunning!!

Curl it! Alternate dipping it in boiling water then ice water a few times to help it set. (Shannon from RetroDollsUS told me that trick.)

Hahaha, the second photo really made me laugh. Well, personally, I would cut it, but I'm not going to suggest that as this doesn't seem a popular option here.  So yeah, either curling it or perhaps try styling it in some really spectacular hairstyle (small plaits perhaps, and then partially rolling them to buns or plait them together into a bigger plait or something). I recently watched some youtube styling videos (for women, not ponies) and some of the plaits looked spectacular.
