Hello everyone,

I recently acquired tic tac toe and salty. I already had baby tic tac toe and they quickly became a new pony family in my herd. I also have trickles and posey, who are cousins to me due to their similair colours and pose, which can aslo be a factor in pony families.

In my herd, majesty and moondancer are the moms to my custom country boy.

This got me thinking, who do you think is family in your herd?

Biological doesn't have to be a factor here. Family is family no matter what.

Bow Tie, French Bow Tie (custom that I haven’t done yet) are married, Baby Bow Tie, French Baby Bow Tie (custom) are sisters

Sweet Celebrations are a family (only got brother and sister)

Princess Misty is the sister of Princess Sparkle and that means their babies are cousins.

So for me it's colours and themes mostly.

My families are

Slugger & Milky Way adopted the newborn twins Sniffles and Snookums.

Pony Bride came with Uk activity club blank baby and Baby Bridesmaid, adopted teeny tiny baby Whiskers a while after arriving.

Steamer has taken on a 'big brother' role with Clipper.

Love Letter has adopted Baby Fun n Games.

Baby Halfnote and alternative February Violet could become a family.

For a short while Sand Digger was looking into adopting Baby Pineapple, but she realised it wasn't for her.

G3 Sunshower is Sweetberry's and Star Catcher's daughter from the future.

For the toys in general

I think Fluttershy's lineage is Posey, Sky Skimmer, ? then Fluttershy.

Light Heart's daughter is Sunny Daze.

G1 Minty's daughter is G2 Spring.

The two different G2 Seabreeze's and Flash are siblings, maybe The Seabreeze's are twins and Flash is their younger sibling.

Princess Fuchsia and Her Majesty Great Romance are probably siblings, or a mother and daughter deal.

Curly and Lily are too similar to ignore, but then that'd leave Rose out despite the fact they're twins.

Also Precious, Miss Teacher and Springdy are very similar colour wise to Curly so maybe they're related.

If I'd have to theorise, I think Sunny is Precious's daughter and Miss Teacher is her sister while Curly and Springdy are sisters to each other and cousins to the other two.

Nightshine is the mother to twins Rumba and Sumba.

Royalette and Crowning Glory are twins.

I'll probably remember more throughout the day and come back to update, but off the top of my head, Tiddlywinks had the same color scheme as Lickety Split, so she and Baby Lickety Split were sisters in a family with Lickety Split and Posey as their parents. Yes, our Posey was a guy! We re-gendered several of our ponies because this was before male ponies were available, and we needed boy ponies for some of our storylines. Our version of Posey was probably the most charismatic pony in our herd!

I had Baby Dangles, but she seemed kind of random and didn't fit in anywhere (maybe because all our other newborns were twins and she was a random single), so we gave her to the white and blue Fifi that came with the Perm Shoppe since she was the same color. She had curly hair, so we pretended that Fifi had permed her child's hair and kept her in a pen at the Shoppe to try to sell perms. I think there were also some child-labor themes along that line of play too, because I remember some of the other baby ponies sneaking into the Perm Shoppe to free her from her pen.   

Of course anytime we had duplicates of any pony, they were siblings or family.

I don't have a ton, but TaF Buttons and Tootsie are definitely sisters or at least cousins. I think Angel and Blueberry Baskets could be sisters, too.
