If you could only collect one generation besides G1?

G3 because they were close enough to G1 and I actually liked some of their animated appearances

G3 by far - they were the most beautiful in my opinion, and were the ones I admire the most along side G1 anyway.

I love G4 as a show, and I do have some of the toys, but there is less to them, and I don't need several versions of the same character.

I really need to research G2 more, but I do like them.

G1 and G3 are my favorite toylines despite not owning any - both are beautiful, and G1 is really imaginative and nostalgic sounding, that I really wish I grew up with it.

G2, because they got me into pony collecting as an adult, I like their designs (even if their bodies are a bit weird), and I love their play sets and accessories. I wish I’d bought more of them back when they were cheap and plentiful and very few collectors were after them.
