If you could only collect one generation besides G1?

I know there's already a similar thread but that one included G1 which of course is an overwhelmingly popular answer considering many here started with it. But what I want to ask is what generation would you collect if you could only collect one other generation besides G1?

Hard question, but I have more G3s, so probably G3. But I would hate to lose my almost-childhood from-new G2s...:/ I am very attached to Berry Bright.

oh, so G1 + another gen? G2, because of my beloved Ivy. Didn't even have to think of it.

I mean, I'd be sad to lose my G3s and G4s too, but... Ivy....

I hit G3 because of HQG1C. Their wingless flutters are the same size & age as the G2s, & by taking a mould off a Peek-A-Boo or Playtime Brother it can't be too hard to give furry hooves to some to make Boys.

Anyway, there's also the fact G3 have fewer silly motion things going on, as well as more variety in their Ponies. I do love my G2s, but I know I loved G3s almost as soon as they came out & my first G3 was Daisyjo bought new in a shop. They're a huge part of my Ponyworld, along with their playsets (supermarket, nightclub, island paradise, fairground etc).

Wasn't easy though but they were the main parts of my decision. If only G2 didn't have that horrible Light Heart who goes wi the bed!!! That unyielding plastic!!!

Well, I voted that G3 would be the only Gen I would collect if I could only collect one in the other topic, so this one is pretty easy for me! G3!

Personally, I don't find the G2s appealing. The G4s are kind of cute but not enough to buy any.

G3! I'm actually re starting my g3 collection from when I was a kid.
I adore the g3 ponies I just purchased moondancer complete with all her cool accessories, so excited! So much childhood nostalgia.
Shes a strangely colourless pony yet I remember she was a favourite of mine x

It's be a race between G2 and G3... but I'd go straight after a G2 before a G3 lol
