Why Do I Not Feel The Need To Collect Anymore? - still love MLP

My life has changed tremendously since I began collecting. I'm not in a phase right now where I am actively building my collection. I will always lovd ponies and consider myself a collector. I guess I'm following Marie Kondo when it comes to ponies: buy the ones that spark joy! I went overboard with "gotta collect em all" G3-itis and I got burned out. I had close to 1,000 ponies but it was too many to enjoy. You dont have to buy All The Ponies to be a fan, collector, or love them

I started to pull back around 2012 and sold off a good portion of my collection outside of the ones I absolutely loved. Then, I was completely out after 2014 until a couple years ago when the 35th anniversary popped up. Since then my collection has been downsized quite a bit. I still enjoy MLP but I have other responsibilities and hobbies I want to focus on in the meantime.
