Has anyone acetoned off the Pony Mania pony designs?

Has anyone successfully removed the random designs all over the "Pony Mania" ponies? They just COVERED them with them, and in my opinion it looks really bad, and not well thought out or executed. (I don't like all the unnecessary paint jobs on G4s like these "tattoos," stuff around the eyes, or painted clothing.)

The only acetoning I've messed with is with G4s, and was removing the zapcodes off their legs, and successfully removed the eye designs over the eyes of the TaF/Cutie Mark Magic ponies, but even that proved challenging and poor Button Belle has one smudgy eyelash now! >_>

But the Pony Mania ponies seem even harder because they are just COVERED in these designs and have stuff ALL OVER their eyes.
I really, really wanted the whole "Friendship Blossom" collection because it was nearly all new, one off characters, and also the corresponding FS Daring Do, but man I feel like those designs would just be nearly impossible to remove, and it'd almost be more worth it to just completely wipe their faces off (not symbols) because of how hard it'd be to maneuver around the eyes.

Has anyone successfully "lasered off" their "tattoos?" Please show me, if you have! Even if it was the Mane 6 or Princess characters!

Ahhh I haven't done it but I wish there were a way to just have the black and white haired ponies.  I love the designs and I think they're actually one of the more sought after releases.
I am a bit worried about black paint staining the plastic though? I've had that issue with paint on thrifted G3, not even black, but like yellow and red. I feel like all those dark colors may not come off on a Rarity or Fluttershy.

I bought the ones covered with tatoos loose on Ebay and then removed some of the decals with acetone. I found that the colours did stain in some cases. June Rose is my birth pony which is why I started on this set. However you can still see faint marks ons everal. I tried magic eraser but for the record I don't recommend using magic eraser on G4 bodies because they are slightly shiny. I think they will look OK on display but don't pass close inspection.

obviously no, as i do not collect g4 and as such dont have any, but didnt this set have octavia? i want her.. regular.. her, vinyl without her glasses, and a cheese sandwich brushable are the only things id ever seek out from g4 if they came out.

Octavia came with an Equestria girl but it was a Rainbow Rocks release, not a Ponymania one.

I acetoned the decals off of the giant talking chrysalis and didn't notice any staining.
I don't have pictures at the moment, though.

oh good I am glad you posted those moonbreeze = yep I prefer just a hip symbol to all that extra tattoo-ness (reminds me of the cutie-pox episode...)

so I think for the G4s and especially pony mania that acetone should be fine and won't leave color bleeding into the legs etc.  just to state the obvious - careful around the eyes (worse case what a micron archival ink pen is for to touch up)
