What's the deal with Rarity?

I don't particularly care for her much, but I've noticed that ever since the retro pack, she's lost her pink stripe. I personally like the pale blue-gray on Brush n Grow Rarity...I just don't like her head. Is this Hasbro being lazy? Hasbro tweaking her slightly? Or Hasbro claiming they are tweaking her looks so they can be lazy?

I think it just reduces one extra color they'll have to buy. I don't mind much personally because her hair is more of a gradient than a striped mane.

I know what a gradient is. I'm saying I don't see a gradient in the new toys.

Oh, there isn't a gradient in the new toys. I was just remarking that I thought it was odd to do the stripes in the first place and I prefer the color we have now. I was on my phone, sorry for the curt explanation.

I was confused as to why they did her hair two toned in the toys previously... it feels closer to her actual hair color now with the second shade gone.

I do too. The shade her hair is now is much more blue-violet. Its really pretty.

I'm pretty sure the stripe may have been added to the toy because of the gradient since the gradient adds an extra color. Although in the blindbag version the pink/purple is on the underside of the hair.

Honestly I do prefer the two colors to the solid ultraviolet grape purple lol
