So, while setting up February in my journal, I needed to fill a page with something, so I drew my persona, Shailatte.
(sorry about the dark bits, the paper in the LT1917 book tends to ghost a bit,so last week's spread can be seen through >-< I tried to edit out some of it and the dot grid. sorry!)

There's no real story behind it except the fact that I woke up WAY too early today, and coffee will be the saviour of the day... x__x (as it is every day. *ahem*)

I bujo but I rarely bother with any art, just some washi tape and stickers to brighten it up a little, otherwise I try to keep it as low-effort as possible. May I ask what are the black pens you're using here? Especially the one you use to cover large areas, is it a Tombow pen? Thanks!

Griffin - they’re Sakura Pigma brush pens I buy them in a set of 3, one really thin brush, one medium (which is the one I use to fill large areas - I would use India ink but it can get a little bit sticky :/) and then a really big one, which tbh is my fav bc it has a reallllly thin point, so you can get great line thickness variation with it.
The reason I just use the medium one to fill areas is because the tip of that one gets fluffy and blunt almost instantly (it’s a felt tip) so it’s pretty useless for lettering and line work. I use tombows for brush lettering

Oh cool, I'll have to keep an eye out! I use Microns but haven't tried these brush pens yet.
