There's really no such thing as 'US ponies'. I believe every single set sold in the US was also sold somewhere else in the world, so I'm not sure there even are US exclusives.

It makes me very uncomfortable being expected to think of my childhood ponies bought new here in the UK as 'US ponies'.

I agree with Taffeta friend somewhat, but I also understand what the OP was saying. I'm sorry if I sound rude, but I'd say regular or just releases. I'd make a note if it were Nirvana.

However, I love these regular lines:

 I don't think I saw the Year 3 Unicorn set here as such (with glitter symbols) so those are the USA released ponies that I'd most have liked to collect when I was little. Edit: I forgot so softs! We didn't get those here iether. I think my other favourites are the Summer Wing pones, Twinkle Eye Ponies, Perfume Puff and Glow N Show.
