Crossing over FiM with G1 TF makes no flipping sense.

It's not G1 Transformers, it's IDW2 (the reboot of IDW which came out a year or two ago).  Like, Gauge is a character.  (IDW2 does pull from G1 a lot, but also has a lot of characters that I would consider "IDW" rather than "G1", like who gave a crap about Brainstorm before IDW gave him an actual personality, you know what I mean?)

I also think an 80s Jem crossover would work with TF.  Some kind of battle of the bands thing between Blaster and Soundwave where they recruit the Holograms / Misfits.

I'd pay so much for this to happen, actually. It would work so well. That entire Dance-a-tron episode. You could even make an Autobot fall in love with Synergy and it wouldn't be weirder than the usual G1 TF lovestories on the show, lol. Hound + Synergy 5 Eva!

Oh man.  I want to see this.

I also love the MLPs meet BotBots idea.    There are even alicorn BotBots!  It would work so well!

There are so many BotBots who could infiltrate the ponies' world with ease . . . all the baked goods, the shrub-based one, the toys . . .

I wish they'd make a BotBots cartoon, or at least webisodes.

They look like Geewunners, though. Just like the new Cyberverse bots look like G1 ("evergreen designs") but at least they have a cartoony style.
It's so jarring to see the bubblegum ponies with no real anatomical correctness drawn together with humanoid machines that have hundreds of details.

iv been waiting all my life to have a G1mlp and G1 transformers cross over at some stage, even just briefly, oh well the wait still continues......this is close but not close enough

but the Jem band thing i would throw money at LOL, ever since seeing a picture on deviant art of Jem play guitar with Optimus i thought they seriously need to do a cross-over there.

In all seriousness though, I honestly don't think Pony Magic or attempting to shove friendship down the cons throats would work any better then the Care Bears trying to Stare/Call or asking them to get along with the autobots would.

Did you know that the Transformers had a hair-metal band in an alternate universe?  The Knights of Unicron.  They were a SDCC exclusive set.

My ponies and transformers had cross-overs all the time when I was a kid.
