I tried some new things, like gradient hair, which sadly seemed to "mellow" from the bright jewel tones once she dried. Plus I screwed up her tail. It was supposed to be white/green/red/purple.

A new wing shape based on the G4 Princesses which I botched while cutting. And glitter/glue/Suncatcher paint for the wings instead of nail polish, because I couldn't find any with snowflakes.

She still came out pretty though and I made a back card story for her. Her wings are drying.

I like the winter theme! All the flutter ponys have such flowery/warm themes, of course, but I think it's time we had a wintery flutter pony.

Thank you buffalo. Its odd that we only got spring and summer flutters. Autumn and winter would've been so pretty!

Second this!

She is very cute, IMO you can never go wrong with gradient hair, haha! I haven't tried it myself, though, because I imagine dyeing can be quite a hassle (messy and somewhat unpredictable). You did great even if the results aren't as vibrant as you would've hoped! The subdued tones are perfect for winter, I think.

Thank you Griffyn. :)

I'm still a bit disappointed but whaddya gonna do?

Dyeing her hair actually wasn't too much of a hassle. I wrapped up sections I didn't want dyed and dipped in the exposed parts. Let it set, rinsed  and repeated.
