Currently watching the owl house. I like it a lot. I find the characters charming and cute!

Yeah, I like it, too. It fills the void Star VS Evil left in my cartoon loving heart.
It's also nice to see Disney finally grasped that the plot can start early in a series and we don't have to suffer a first season full of filler eps. So far each episode fleshed out the characters, world or relationships.

How old is your daughter? I was big into Gargoyles as a kid but some things are a tad too mature and I didn't really get them when I was young.

I really thought I had just lost interest in Steven Universe and after that finale I think I can safely say I don't like it anymore (aside from the background artworks, which are still unique and beautiful) but wow, talk about a ton of unused potential and even more hanging plot threads

Basically, Steven goes crazy angry because he can't cope with his PTSD (and because his GF doesn't want to marry him right away...) and becomes ultra powerful to a point he becomes Godzilla and nobody can stop him - until everybody apologizes to him, hugs him and he stops being a literal monster.

Did we ever learn why the heck Steven is stronger than even the strongest of Gems, btw? It's like he is a Force child or something. And now he is officially the strongest and most dangerous character in the entire show

I really expected Steven to see that violence and anger can't solve anything - because that is what he always preached throughout six seasons, but in the end he just becomes like that himself and instead of realizing his faults, it's presented as everybody else's fault. They even turned his dad into a bad father real quick just to give Steven a reason to hate him, too.

I've been watching Nighthood!  Someone has uploaded it to youtube (as "Arsene Lupin" rather than Nighthood) and I am taking advantage.  Oh Lupin you smooth bastard   This show has probably the BEST animated opening sequence I have ever seen, check it out
