POTD 1/6/2020 Cherry Treats

I would love to have her, if it weren't for her unfortunate tendency to go beige. This set is gorgeous! I love most of it.

I have yet to ever have a beige one come through my hands but I did see one at ponycon the other year and it is quite a firm colour change o.O.

Cherry Treats was a childhood pony for me. I still have my original one, I have another Chinese one with her card and bubble, ribbon, brush (UK) and I have a Hong Kong one from the US with a forelock as well. So three. My childhood oneand the one with the card and stuff are pretty much the same but there are some differences between the China and HK versions.

Not surprising really since most HK ones come from the US and the set came out there 2 years before the UK had them in 1990.

There's shadow on the HK one in that photo but they are both snow white.

This one came to me like this, the bubble taped back on and her hair ribbon in her tail like she'd been played with, but the thing has never been taken off her head :/ Almost like she was half played with once and then someone got bored and put her back...for years :/ I bought her for the card as I didn't have my childhood card any more, but when I got her I realised that I kind of had to keep the set, so she stayed.

I have her. As a child I had her too, but sadly I lost my original Cherry Treats back then. I finally found another at the fleamarket a couple of years ago, and even though I'm super grateful, I'm a little sad that she has that inevitable beige colour. I really really want a white one for that childhood nostalgia.

This is her, the picture makes her look whiter than she actually is. But I love her just the same!
