Tips for airbrushing!
« on: December 26, 2019, 06:46:27 AM »
So I recently got a airbrush and all that but I need some answers and tips. So I have acrylic paint that I use and what I use to thin it out is just water, dose water work as much as airbrush thinning?

You can use pretty much any acrylic paint so long as you thin it.

I use airbrush flow improver made by Vallejo to thin my paints, I usually use a 50/50 mix, but the mix can vary from paint to paint. You can thin with water though :) so people use flow improver and water.

Always clean your brush after using it and before storing it.

Yes! Perfect advise already given. I always use water since it's cheap and always on hand, but I have heard other people say an airbrush reducers are the way to go. I say try both, see what you think. I learned the most from experimenting and watching YouTube tutorials.
