G1s at Half Price Books

My husband and I were browsing the Nerd Alley section of Half Price Books tonight and they were selling several G1s as in original ones. They were definitely showing their age with browned muzzles and things like that but if anyone else has a Half Price Books in their area, I thought those here at the Arena would like to know^^ One of the first ones I saw was a Majesty but again was showing her age a bit too much for my liking.

Nice! We’re they just loose ponies or moc? Years ago I found a bunch of g1 ss ponies loose at a Halloween store. It’s always fun finding g1s in the wild!

wow, that's awesome! I rarely go to HPB anymore but I'll have to see if the ones around here ever sell ponies

They definitely weren't MOC. They were inside HPB plastic baggies and worth mentioning I saw a Funko Fluttershy POP too. I usually do see G4 stuff there including an FiM version of Chutes and Ladders last night. This was my first time seeing any G1s and I definitely agree seeing them in the wild is fun Mermaid. Even before I became terrified of catching some kind of awful disease thrift shopping I never found G1s at Good Will.

Interesting... I've found a MIB g4 Celestia Funko there before, that was $75. Feel like they over charge considering being "half priced" but whatever, still cool to know they're out there. Thanks for sharing!

Oh gosh yeah the collectibles can indeed be pricey. I have an in box Funko Spitfire I got for like $10 or less though. Speaking of, I miss the regular Funko pony figures before everything had to be in their POP style
