Mystery G2 babies!

I felt like browsing for G2 a while back after a long buying hiatus.
And I spotted this on a French second hand website!

So, what is that dark pink baby? I've never seen one like that before.

I got them yesterday! So excuse the cellphone pictures
The Mystery Pink baby is darker than Moondust/ Stardust and also doesn't match any other baby. And her symbol is two-sided and completely identical. It does look like factory work.

The Blue Baby, turned out to be really interesting too. At first I thought it was a regular variant on Sparkle or Jewel.
(as shown on this page: http://www.lavenderlagoon.com/jewel-sparkle-twin-variant.html) I didn't have this variant myself yet, so I went for it.

Welllll, she's strange Her eyes are painted, her symbol (although very damaged) is reversed and pink. She has tinsel in her forelock which is odd...
The bottom of her left hoof has been chipped of, as if it were glued to something (?). She also feels a bit heavier than the regular G2 baby.

What do you guys think? Is the blue baby a promotial one used for displays? Has anyone seen a promotional picture of that Pink Baby? Because I'm clueless

Wouldn't the mystery baby be Sunsparkle's daughter? But you have the most comprehensive website I know, so if you're not sure then idk. But I agree that Baby Jewel/Sparkle might be a promo one or a secondary prototype!

Btw, was the website Leboncoin? Because if my memory serves me right, I might've seen the Prototype Lady Elegant on there. I tried going back to find her but I couldn't locate her!

Well thats a great find. I have never seen them before either and I also compare variants a lot more with your site. But looks like they had a make over. The pink baby has this paint on her ear. The blue one looks more legit. I would check the inside to be sure.

The paint is from something else. I find that on ponies more often, so I think that's from something they were stored with.
I'm really not fond of opening G2 babies. I usually nearly destroy them in the process when I try to customize them (hellish things). The pink pony is still darker than the any other G2 baby (also when I look on the inside of her neck) and her symbol isn't hand painted (and identical on both sides).

I willpop their heads off eventually. In case for the blue one I'm too scared to destroy the paint.

Edit to add The paint maybe looks like something has been on her head? It's on both ears on the same spot (more or less). Maybe a painted crown? There no paint anywhere else aside from that.

Wow, what an awsome find. They look cute tough. Maby the pink baby is a prototype, and the blue a variant. So fun to still be finding these kind of things with G2.

AAAA this is so exciting! New developments! Is there any other officially released babies with that cutie mark? I'm looking at your website atm for comparison!

Edit: I can't seem to find a cutie mark that matches this mystery baby! My guess is she might've been an early design for Sunsparkle's baby!

My brain keeps coming up with the school Flitter belongs too and although idk why exactly, maybe because it's a singular baby with a non matching theme? There's Baby Snowflake which matches with his accessories but then again, Flitter may represent freedom or new growth with his name and/or cutie mark.

My best suggestion is to go through whatever media you have and see if you can find the baby. Also my guess on the weird paint is maybe they were modelling a crown meant for Sparkle and Jewel or Sweetheart and Trueheart, as they were the only babies released with a crown. This might also support my Flitter and Baby Sunsparkle theory as they were released in the same year.
