Are any pony outfits more rare then others?

Hello everyone,

I'm not really into pony wear, but recently the pony naut outfit caught my eye. I absolutely adore it, yet I cant find one for sale anywhere. The only one I saw was moc and since decarding is something that gets you beheaded nowadays, I don't dare to buy that one. I digress.

So are any outfits harder to find then others? Are some pricier for that reason? Please let me know.

I think the second set is less common than the first one, but that's true of most pony sets.

There are some UK/Euro exclusive outfits and variants of those, which are not so common.

I do think Ponynaut is pretty sought after though.

Sadly the shape of the helmet (the clear plastic thing) isn't very big and round. It's rather flattened. Will see if I can find you a picture

I don't think any G1 unicorn would fit in the Ponynaut costume, it doesn't have space or a hole for the horn.

I could never find all of Ponynaut loose. I have it MOC for that reason.

Though I absolutely don't condone opening G1 packages, especially not for a pony it won't fit.

As for what is htf it probably depends most on where you're located, since not everything was available everywhere.

The small pieces for the later fashions are a pain though. And Megan and Sundance Wear doesn't seem that common.

I seem to remember reading that the Costume Wear set was not widely available in the US at the time of its release. That a bunch of carded ones were found in some specific place years later. Can anyone confirm this? That would explain why it seems easier to find these outfits on card rather than loose. It was also the very last set of pony wear. Maybe stores still had pony wear from earlier years clogging the shelves, so they didn't order the last set.

I can't confirm for the US but I know the UK issue of both those sets and the small accessory dress up things were just US imports on US card featuring ponies not sold here. Maybe we accounted for some of that stock too.
