Hey fellow MLP lovers!

I‘m from Germany and passionately collected and loved the G1 ponies and play sets during my childhood from 1982 on.

Unfortunately during my late teenage years I sold my whole collection on a flea market, because i felt to „grown up“ for it, but always regretted somehow it all the past years until now. Recently little daughter started to get a huge interest in MLP („They‘re all so cute and colorfull, mommy...!“) and so I started to buy and kinda recreate my old collection for her... and secretly for me as well. Of course it has to be G1 and only G1, because I never liked the G2-4 (probably because their heads don‘t look like the ones of real ponies anymore).

That's so sad you sold your childhood ponies. Lots of people here have the same story of how they 'out grew' their ponies and now regret parting with them!  The things we do.    It's lovely you now have your daughter to begin collecting with again though.  The two of you can make new memories together - and when she gets old enough to sell her collection you will know to talk her out of it!  LOL.
