What to do with this italian bowtie?
« on: December 01, 2019, 04:12:14 AM »
Hello everyone,

I have a baity g1 italian bowtie. Her pink bows are faded a bit, her eyes are kind of misprinted but and she needs new hair and a tail. Other then that, she's still good. I can reroot her in the right colour but reroots dont sell very well. Especially common ponies. Shes still a nirvana tho.

I can add pictures tonight.

So what do you think, shall I customize her? Or us she still salvagable?

Im leaning towards customizing but I'd like to get some opinions first.

Thank you.

Cheers,

Luke

Sounds like an alt rehair opportunity to me. It's up to you, but I would always err more on the side of Restore when it comes to Italians.
If the pony is "baity but still good" then it's not bait in my opinion. Fading is normal with pink details and expected, and if it's a factory misprint then I would just leave her alone minus new hair and tail.
Is she buzzed or just trimmed?

She's completely buzzed, even missing a bit of hair in the back. I don't really want to keep her in my collection tho. I don't need a third bow tie.

If you plan on selling her, maybe try to sell her to someone more interested in her or baity ponies in general. If you want to customize her in any way so you'd want to keep her, then customize her. ^^

I would say either to sell her as is and let the buyer decide if they want to rehair her, or fully customize her and sell the custom, or if you find something you want to do (alt rehair, etc) to keep her in your collection, that's ok, too =)

It kind of comes down as to whether you are determined to sell, and whether a custom or a chopped Nirvana would fetch a higher price. Up to you, I don't really know.

Rehair her :)

Italy ponies do have misprinted eyes, it is the way they are made :bigups:
