Anybody else got a youtube outage?

Or is it just me? Other people seem to have issues too, so I'm curious how widespread it is. The site is up, and videos load, but wont play.  Anybody else?

It works for me but Im in China and need to use a VPN

Yeah, so far all i've figured out is its related to a windows update a couple days ago. It definitely on my end, but i cant figure out whats broken, since everything is coming up fine when i check it. I've even checked for malware but no dice. it's not just youtube now, it's everything even remotely video related. Can't even open skype or  steam games. My video drivers say they're fine though...i'm at a loss. Other people seem to have had the same issues, but what fixed theirs isnt helping me. All i can do is pray it fixes itself. Maybe i'll actually get some housework done, lol.

Ah. I have given up on Windows updates. My computer is 5 years old and updates tend to mess it up.

Yeah, i'm down to barebones security updates myself. Good news! I'm fixed! It took several days of intensive Googling and some thinking outside the box, but i am back in business, woohoo! Turned out,  it was the video driver, and i had to find a way to uninstall it without letting the automatic reinstall wizard put it back, because it kept doing it wrong. One manual install later, and voila! The Youtubes are back. Yaaaaay.
