Got mine! I somehow missed the G2 happy meals when I was a kid, so I'm happy I found her (even though the hollow legs are really somethin').

Looks like her head is of a different plastic and may discolour in the future. Out of curiosity, did the original 1998 version have a head made of a softer, more rubbery plastic as well?

Asked at my local McDonald's about these. I was told that they didn't know anything about it, but they were going to look into it and see if they were getting them later or w/e (they were very excited about them!). I live in a pretty small town though, if that makes any difference (idk if a McD's in a big city might know more, for example).

I wish they'd release a list of participating countries already

I'm glad there is a way to tell her a part from the original one. I don't have a McDonalds in my town anymore as it was shut down a couple years ago so I'll either have to buy online or wait to come across at a thrift store. Not a big want for me at the moment as I have an army of all the 1997 ponies I've accumulated over the years from lots.

well the screws ruined any desire of me picking it up, thanks for the side by side comparison!  It's a shame they are so cheaply made I get it's a happy meal toy but the toys I grew up with for mcdonalds still seem like higher quality
