Who do you prefer? Moondancer edition!

If I really had to choose it’s be OG Moondancer. I’m a sucker for white ponies, and she’s just gorgeous in general. Sometimes the more simple designs appeal to me the most. I also appreciate that she was featured marrying Glory in the Wedding Prance figure, and love her back card blurb where she put Cotton Candy under a sleep spell. She has a mischevious side!

G3 Moondancer is really nice too. I love celestial ponies, and I thought the whole set of accessories she came with is cute too. I love her palette as well.

G4 Moondancer did finally get an appearance in the later seasons of FiM, thank goodness! I like to think her palette is a mix of both her G1 and G3 iterations (also resembles the UK yellow Moondancer). Her nasally voice, her glasses and lil sweater, and her bookwormy nature  are all just so precious. She will remain one of my favorites from G4.

g3 Moondancer was one of my first ever ponies so I have to go with her! Her pearly silver colour is stunning in real life ^^

I love G1 Moondancer the most, while I am not keen on her mold, I love her colors and symbol. She is definitively one of my favourite G1 unicorn and go gaga for her.

My vote went for G1. I just picked both versions up this weekend too, how fitting.

My vote goes to G1 moondancer. I can see I'm not the only one who wishes her pose was different (I think she'd look nice in the powder pose) but otherwise she's just so pretty- I actually think she's even prettier when her vinyl has yellowed slightly. G3 moondancer is beautiful too though, her pearlesent silvery blue body is stunning!

G1.

I had the G3 one from the store and she is very pretty. G1 wasn't sold here but she wins on the nostalgia kick...as one of those ponies I imagined as a kid because I couldn't own them

I love the retro one too. I think she's probably the prettiest of the unipeg retro set. Don't tell Medley I said this.

Also, yellow Moondancer is not a UK pony. She was sold in Scandinavian countries (some at least) and possibly some other places but NEVER in the UK. IF a website tells you otherwise, it's wrong.

As much as I love G3 Moondancer... G1 Moondancer is the only true Moondancer for me <3 He gets my vote!

I love the G1 Moondancer, she will always be a favorite of mine. Especially Baby Moondancer. So pretty! I really appreciate the G4 nod to her in the friendship is magic show, she always had a soft spot in my heart as a shout out to older collectors. :-)

G1 if I *had* to choose, but it's suuuuper close. G3 Moondancer is one of my favourite G3s Star symbol, unusual colour scheme and Diva pose, what's not to love?
