Are mlp g1 piggy banks valuable?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to buy some g1's on kijiji and noticed that the seller also has a bow tie money bank for sale.
It looks kinda green, like on the wiki, but more green then sual maybe? Idk might be the picture.
My question is, did I stumble upon a rare item? Or is it just a regular one? Anyone got any info? Thanks.

I think that's real.... Usually "fake" banks have just Cotton Candy cutie marks. A genuine Bowtie bank went for  $250ish on eBay recently. I don't know how much faded ones go for though.

I think the Bow Tie bank is real.  There are fakes that seem to be based on the Bow Tie bank.  Not sure of the value of the real ones.

It's real, they're just NOTORIOUS for discoloring like that.  $250 is insane.

Pretty much. Sure its rare to find them that nice but I couldn't justify spending that. Aren't they fairly small too?

I didn’t notice my sale was being asked about!!

I ended up selling this one for $25 because of discolouration
Not the vivid blue one $250 on eBay

Another discoloured one “tootsie” sold for around that amount
 I also sold one of Blossom without the cap on the end for $20 a few months earlier

I don’t know if this update helps anyone
But thought I’d share
