Oh this is really cool! Guess it’s time to eat some McNuggets for that week!  I’d be happy to get a few of the other toys too, so I don’t even mind the blind bag style! I’m really happy that G2 is getting some sort of retro love!

and yes you can buy just the toys, the cost varies from store to store since McDonald's is a franchise (it's usually 1.5$ around me), and you might even get some for free depending on if the worker is feeling less surly that day 😂

Btw, for everyone lamenting over these being blind bagged, I've always found McDonald's employees to be perfectly happy to bring over a few toys so you can figure out which one you're getting (by feeling up the bags, etc) before you buy, as long as you're nice/polite, explain what you're doing and ask when the restaurant's quiet/not busy. I dunno if things are different in the US but I figured I'd say that just in case :o Good luck to everyone looking for specific toys!!

McD Germany has nothing about ponies on their Happy Meal info. Instead we get Pokémon cards.

I just took a closer look at the article linked on the first post and it says this promo is going to be "worldwide" - even going out of their way to specify which items are US exclusives - but it doesn't specify which countries will be participating... the UK site doesn't say anything, and our current promo is pretty big so I'm not sure if they'd interrupt it.. :s I guess I could go and check tomorrow. Has anyone heard whether or not we're getting 'em over here?

Nothing up here either on their website, so I don't expect them coming week
