How to rehair a reboot g4 alicorns hair? Should I dye instead?

I am looking to dye a my little pony movie princess celestias hair, but I don't know how I'd remove all her hair. Is it possible to dye it? Is there a method to remove the mane and tail? The neckhole is really small and I don't even know how to get to the tail.

The tail can be removed by cutting the wings out. I haven't beheaded the Princesses from the movie set, but is it possible to get in with a pair of hemostats or is it too thin for that?

Seems to be too thin. To do that I'd have to hollow out the neck hole, I think.

I tried to dye the hair. but whatever new material they use doesn't dye at all.
I did get all her hair removed, though.
I tried to cut the wings out to remove her tail but they wouldn't come out..so I tried to cut her in half but she was too hard.
I used a dremel to dremel the tail out of the hole. It seems the g4 reboot alicorns are actually solid plastic, looking into the tail hole there's just enough space to fit in the end of a tail, then the rest is solid.
To remove the hair I cut out the neck plug and scraped the glue loose with a clippers then pulled it out with a tweezers.
Over all, these are the hardest to customize yet.
