I have her. Fairly certain she speaks English, but even with new batteries she's the silent type.

Yay, I thought it might be Talk-a-Lot today! Have English, Spanish and German versions. The German is my favourite. Her name is Goldkehlchen ('little gold throat').

I think I have English and Spanish. I get confused without going to check whether I have the German or the Spanish of these two, as I have deliberately got one of each but can never remember which way around. I think it's the Spanish one in purple though.

I also have the English one MIB (UK box so it actually says Talkalot). Goodness knows what her batteries are doing inside of her.

At last check all my talking ponies still talked fine. Whether they're on their original batteries or not I dunno, though, as all of them are second hand.

I always liked Talk a lot best of the two. I love her colour scheme even if her pose is awkward and her IQ definitely in question.

As far as I can tell, Goldkehl (gold-throat) is a name given to various yellow-throated birds. It also seems to imply a nice singing voice, e.g. Die Hamburger Goldkehlchen is a choir from Hamburg. (Goldkehlchen is also the name of a brand of cider with a gold bird on the label, but that's beside the point.) I think that's right but I'm not a native German speaker, I only know a little bit.
