Replacing Rubber band on accessories?
« on: August 23, 2019, 10:55:24 AM »
Regardless of how many times I tell my family members to leave my stuff alone, they always find a way to ruin a pony or an accessory. Today was just one of those days I guess.

My sister broke the rubber band from the little viking hat that comes with the G4 School of Friendship playset. I know it's just a tiny little accessory, but I'm distraught over this. I'm probably overreacting, but I'm so particular about my things being mint.

I really want to replace the rubber band and fix it. But I don't know how. Is there a way to replace it without having to tie it and having a knot show through?

Use elastic or super glue it on (that what I did to one of my little accessories on a pony)

A mother pony can be protective of her young just like dogs.

My thought would be a small dab of some sort of super glue to keep the band in on the inside of the hat. Could you get a pic of this particular accessory up by chance?

It's the little viking hat/helmet thing that's circled.

is there any way you can replace the elastic? Like, does the hat have holes for the elastic, or is it like, glued to the inside? I've never seen these accessories IRL, sorry ^^'
looks like it's snapped in the middle? In that case it'll be hard to repair, unless you can replace the actual rubber band.
Sorry this happened though >-< I get you with wanting things to be in as pristine condition for your collection as possible. I hate when people touch my pony things :yikes:

Is it one of those transparent not too stretchy things? You could try replacing it with a similar hair "elastics". Those even come in different sizes.
