ID on some fakie (?) pony wear
« on: August 21, 2019, 08:28:09 PM »
I have a small pile of pony clothes that came in a lot of "extra" fakies I bought years ago.  Can anyone identify any of this?  And does anyone want it?

This is UK ponywear?  It's... plastic?

I know the Fairy Tails comb

Grand Champions stuff.  The bottom right brown comb doesn't have the GC logo.

This last one isn't for sale, because you just don't get rid of something like this. :)

The two rose-shaped brushes seem to be generic fakie brushes, I've had loads of them turn up with various fakies over the years.

Puppy in my Pocket leaflet is for the 90s Puppy in my Pocket line released in the UK by Vivid Imaginations.

Little hearts with pictures of ponies in them are from 90s pony fakies My Lovely Pony. They were available around 1998 and identifiable by the hearts on their cheeks.

The Party Ponies brushes are from Lanard Party Ponies: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/528398968779199938/.

The three rounded brushes to the right of the picture look familiar, I think they might be Barbie brushes? But I'm not sure.

The brown sweeping brush and the hay bale(?) are sort of making me think of a toy stable I had as a kid but I can't remember who it was made by. I think it was a knock-off of a Barbie stable that was around at the time.

The two small bibs/aprons with pink hearts and ribbons on them are also familiar, I definitely have/had some of them. There were blue ones as well. But I don't know what they came with, sorry.

Found this regarding Titie (when I'd finished sniggering like a kid at the name ): http://www.mlptp.net/index.php?threads/were-there-round-g1-baby-playpens.25656/. The theory seems to be that it came with a German fakie playpen.

Thanks, Shaz!  I giggled at Titie too.  I'm considering framing it, lol!
