Purely for fun..what are your top 5 favourite g1 pony lines that were released?
Mine are:
- Candy cane
-Rainbow curl
-Flutter
-Sweetheart sister
- Windy wing

Cumulatively for me the sets listed in the UK fact file under the heading My Little Pony, which basically covers all the early earth, unicorn and pegasus ponies, movie star ponies and the UK releases like Gypsy and Honeycomb, as well as the US ponies that were not sold here (Medley, Surprise etc). And the three that didn't exist - Ribbon, Lofty and Paradise without flocking.

Also Twinkle Eyes, Flutters and Newborn Twins I guess.

I forgot about the MB’s! The UK got some cool releases!

They were the only boys I had as a kid. I knew about the others but never saw them for some reason in stores. Years later the other boys were pretty common second hand in my area so I guess they just sold really quickly...

Boy ponies seem to have been popular here!

I love those hair ponies (hair do, great hair) that were released in the U.K in the early 90's. So pretty!

Yeah, the hair ponies are pretty The twisties are kind of weird on the Hairdo ponies but it's possible to style them to look really pretty and I like the pearly sheen. Plus the crimps of the Great Hair Ponies are awesome too.

I forgot about hair-related lines. As a kid, hairstyling was one of my favourite pony things.

Add Brush & Grow to my list.

...It might be quicker to list sets I don't like....

So Softs are my favorite. They have a distinctive scent to them, not to mention how soft their fur is!
Flutters (with wings, of course!) and Twinkle Eyes are also close contenders, as well as the scented sets and Glow N Shows/Sparkle ponies. Oh, and I think the Secret Surprise ponies were also a cool set!

...It might be quicker to list sets I don't like....
