Get ready for MLP the live musical

I thought we might enjoying discussing this here.  My thoughts are that I don't think G4 MLP needs a live stage show.

Yes, we had the “World’s Biggest Tea Party!” stage show. It was kinda cute imo, the suits were the weird part!

Huh. I guess I'm just surprised it didn't happen sooner? I wonder if they'll reuse anything from the G3 show (heck I wonder if any of the stuff from that still exists??).

I like this idea.  I have seen at least some of G3's "World's Biggest Tea Party" and I have seen that live performance My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic thing with Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Rainbow Dash, and I loved it because I related to how it must have felt for the actual target audience - I'd have loved to have seen a live performance from my favorite show when I was younger.  The G4 one happened when I was realising how FiM seemed like something I would have watched as a kid as well, I think.

So yeah, my childish side welcomes this.

I remember G4 did have something like this before. Wasn't sure if it was a full tour like this is, or if it was a one time thing. There's footage of it on YouTube though. It was pretty early in G4's life.

Honestly I totally would go kinda ironically if this was actually coming to my state, but it's not.

Although, what kinda costumes will they use?? Something similar to Biggest Tea Party? Or something new?? I know G4 costumes exist, but they're kinda awkward....

I'd imagine this is the final breath of G4. You know, some sort of MLP income while the toy aisles are clearanced out and G5 is finalized.

It had better be an improvement over the third party live performance that was just a mish-mash of lines and songs from the show.

Ooooo this sounds cute! I wonder what they will look like? I remember the G3 Tea Party one had some kinda weird-but-cute exclusive merch!

I took my daughter to the World's Largest Tea Party...it was actually kinda cute.  Yes, the costumes were strange, but not any worse than when I took my oldest to see Blue's Clues live!  She was little and it was fun for her, so that was a win.
