Washington State Toy Show in November (Puyallup, WA)

Hey guys, I wanted to make everyone aware of this toy show at the Washington State Fair grounds on November 2nd.

They also had a show in March, which I vended at.  I was surprised by the big turnout and just how many vendors were there!  There was even another booth that was also devoted mostly to My Little Pony, with a smattering of other 80s girls toys.  And I also spotted G1 MLPs (and some other gens) hiding in other booths.

I sold a lot of ponies, some to "in the know" MLP collectors and some to little kids. I hope we get even more vendors selling MLP in November!

Tempting... might ask my mom or dad if they could take me and I could request the day off from work... it's not like we'd need to travel... it's maybe 15 minutes away from my house and we pass by the fair almost daily since that's the city I live in.

Do we pay vendors via card? Cash? Both? I need to know if I'll have to go to the bank to take out cash or not before the event!

I haven't attended but bring cash! Some stands should have a card reader (I was surprised at Bronycon how many stands took card too) but cash is King.

It's this weekend, I am PUMPED!     I'm getting my ponies / stands packed up and ready to go!  Gonna have half of Paradise Estate (which will be CHEAP because I'd muuuch rather sell it at the toy fair than have to ship it anywhere), some Euro G2 ponies, SDCC exclusive G3 ponies, and of course plenty of G1 and G4 ponies!  

I'll also be bringing my Takara prototype, not to sell but just as a booth mascot.

When:

$10 for early bird admission at 9am
$5 for regular admission at 10am to 4pm

As far as vendors go, it depends on the individual vendor but a lot will have card readers.  But I would bring some cash just in case!

Haha, I wish I could buy your Estate pieces off you but I'm sure I don't have the space for them. I'll try to buy some horses though.

It was really fun!  There were so many things there- it really was like all 80s toys, so fun!  Of course walking around I kept thinking, "Hey I have a few boxes of these that I should sell..." haha

I hope they do it again-  WAY better than the "Doll and Teddy Bear" quarterly show that used to (maybe still does?) take place in the same place...

Next time if I go to shop I will be leaving the family behind-  I don't know what I was thinking-   I was really rushed and felt like I was only scratching the surface (almost like one of those dreams you can have where you see all kinds of treasure at a thrift store just out of reach or someone buys it first or something...)
