Seeking Quackers advice.
« on: July 25, 2019, 04:21:53 AM »
I've received a new Quackers in a lot.  I already have a nice Quackers, but decided to try to save this poor girl with a blemished face.

How would you treat this poor girl?  I know there's a possibility the brown spot may be cancer and therefore incurable.

I've read Quackers is not a good sunfading candidate.

I've had her muzzle dipped in hydrogen peroxide for almost 24 hours, and there is maybe a slight improvement.  How long would you try this method?

Dip her muzzle in bleach?  Or just paint her mouth?

She's notorious for burning, especially if she''s got yellowing/brownish coloring to her body. EDIT
You could try sun fading for the purplish spot only. I'd wrap up everything except the tiny purple spot you want lightened up. You've got strong sun by you so it shouldn't take long to see a result.

That's definitely an age spot.  I wouldn't sunfade Quackers under any circumstances, but especially not for an age spot.  Sunfading doesn't work on them and may make things worse.

I would touch up her mouth with paint. :)

I would touch her up with paint. It works great, all you have to do is seal it with mod podge of something like that
