Green Bowtie??

I won this pony on ebay because I was so intrigued. Pics used with the seller's permission:

I don't believe this is the case of bad lighting because the seller has a lot of other ponies up for sale with pictures that show the right colours. I'm guessing this is a light blue Bowtie that has discoloured with age to be green? But she's just SO green, and the colour is so consistent - no patches at all.

I think she's super pretty in green though. I really hope she's as green as she looks in the photos. I'll post an update when she arrives!

She could be faded of course, but it also looks like all these pictures do have some green tint to it which can make her look greener than she actually is. Did you ask the seller about her coloring? It will be interesting to see when she gets to you. I hope you post pictures of her when she arrives!

Regardless if she is blue or green- she looks really beautiful

she is lovely, if you sun fade her she will probably go back to being a pale blue colour. how ever i prefer her this colour so wouldn't change a thing

Probably discolored (hopefully not from smoke - did the seller specify if their house was nonsmoking?), but she looks great! You could totally paint some symbols on her and make her a g1 Minty.

Idk if it's just me but in the first pic, her ear that's behind her hair looks more blue than the rest of her body. But in the next pic it seems a lot more green so idk.

So I'm going to be the geek now and mention that she has the long hair (which is a bit confusing given the OP is in the UK, but maybe it's an overseas purchase). The long haired (curly) Bow Tie from y3 does have a lighter body tone anyway. So if it has discoloured (which seems likely) it may be that's why it appears unusual.

Blue does discolour to green easily so I honestly think it's that. But it is an interesting combination.

I guess we'll have to wait and see! Longer haired version is a great find. My BFF has this pony as her army, I've saw her in every color and condition. I'll be very curious to see her actual color in daylight.
