Second set rainbows...
I strategically took the picture like this. They have cancer, glitter loss, glitter rust and are just so discolored I don't think they exist in nice condition...

I didn’t even think about those. But you are right, as a set they are hard to come by in mint condition.

Ponies with flocking, since some collectors shave it off and it doesn't grow back. XD;

I think I'm right that there are basically two batches of these, the ones that go ickly and the ones that don't...?

I have a mixed bag with this set. My Tickle is a bit sad looking, and I know my Pinwheel has rust...but on the flipside, my Flutterbye is literally perfect after all this time, and my Trickles is also absolutely fine so I guess it's hit and miss.

The one that often looks the saddest is Confetti :/ Even my MOC one isn't exactly white...

:/

I found a Starflower at the flea market and aside from possibly slightly faded hair and having one foot partially chewed off, she's totally fine. Is it all the year 3 rainbows that age poorly? Because if it is I deeply regret only buying the Basic Fun Confetti when they were on the shelves here

I'm surprised to see no one else mentioning the year 3 (man, what was Hasbro doing that year?) seaponies. I'm not joking when I say I've seen maybe 2 in condition I'd consider collectible. Do you guys know something I don't? :silly:

As of the Brazil ponies I have seen, I think there is a hair frizz issue w/ many of them.

It’s not what you’d consider a regular set, but the USA Party Pack is near impossible to find in good condition. It’s got a Flutter Pony, a TE that has fading hair and a nearly 100% chance of regrind, a SoSoft pony, a BBE pony with the ever popular rust-able eyes, and a Baby Sea Pony with pearl sheen that rubs off in addition to all the flaws a bath toy is subjected to.

the ever-elusive paradise estate set... i've only ever found one complete in box, and it would have cost me several organs to ship to Aus :(

My opinion may be a bit biased, as I really only go for nirvana's that need restoration; only a small percent are in good shape for Argies and Mexican's. On a positive note, some of those Greeks are *really nice.*

Mainly most Second sets for whatever the reason are hard to find in nice condition. Heres looking at you Taffy. I doubt I ever find her with nice flocking.. My confetti is in poor condition My Cherry treats at least has a nice display side. :/

Oh dear. I totally hear you on Taffy. Mine is terrible :/

On the flip, I've never had a discoloured Cherry Treats.

For G-3, I would say probably the Pegasus set as they only made a few. I am having a hart time finding these out of box w/ backcard in good condition.  :hope:
