That pearly Twilight is sooo pretty! I wish she wasn't an exclusive, and was sold in Target, and that there were more of them other than Twilight.  Too bad it's probably a one-time thing.

@ Cactus-Bloom:  Hasbro always sells their extra exclusives on Hasbro Toyshop after the convention, and for the same price.    Some exclusives sell out really fast while others linger . . . just depends on their popularity.  So there is a bit of a time constraint.  But at least you'll have a shot at getting her at non-eBay prices.

I dont like the package to be honest but the pony is super cute! Looks like a G1/G3 cross to me which is perfect!

Oh wow, I actually really like this! They should do this with all of the mane six. And I think if this is the direction of the toy line I will actually start buying again. I love the mash up! Definitely will try to get this

The G1 MLP logo is super interesting, it's like they combined elements of the original G1 logo (curly-cue) with the later G1 logo (block letters).  It's got curly letters but the T's are connected like on the later logo.

It looks like they made 80s Twilight more like the vintage art than the toys.

Makes Twilight a good size to be Baby Twilight for the 80s pony.

I don't appreciate that Hasbro made a new mold for Twilight and made her special and pearly and yet Sparkle is just a regular shmegular mold they sold before. They could have pearlized her as well. But at least it shows off who the target audience for this is:
the people who buy the retros

Maybe it's just me, but Twilight looks a bit g3-ish.

Like her pose is based on Twilight Twinkle more than anything G1.

It's like they did not want to include G3 Twilight so they merged her with G1 It's a cool thing to have as a G1/G3 collector, imo.

I feel like the odd one out but I really can't stand the G1/G3 Twilight. The mold is just... super bizarre. The head is so strange and off.
