Old Game Shows from the 1980s and 1990s
« on: June 14, 2019, 07:21:57 PM »
Hi.

We were talking about the game show Press Your Luck in the shoutbox and someone mentioned that they hadn't seen it. That conversation got me thinking about other old game shows from the 1980s that I enjoyed.

I couldn't find any short clips for the game shows so these are full episodes

Press Your Luck 1980s version

Tic Tac Dough The dragon was my favorite part. :)

Scrabble

Feel free to post other game shows from that era that you enjoyed. :)

My game show memories skew more toward the 90s.. and/or re-runs from GSN

Win lose or draw.. I never was watching TV when you was on, but when I caught it, I really loved to watch it. My cousins even had the video game, lol.

Cash explosion (Ohio). I didn't like it, but I ALWAYS saw it flipping through.the channels. You could get the opportunity to get on the show with.scratch off tickets. I think my mom's friend got on once.

Thanks for the links banditpony. I think I watched Win Lose or Draw sometimes if I can't it. I had the video game for a while but I could never get it to work correctly.

The Cash Explosion game is interesting.

I loved Press Your Luck!  I was really too young to know a lot about what was going on but I loved to yell "NO WHAMMY!"

Same!!

I watched the new version for the first time last night and although I could care less about Elizabeth Banks, I did appreciate the fact that they kept the whammies the same in both animation and sound.. I was more excited about seeing the whammy antics than anything..
