retro ponies/stranger things crossover????

Is there specific other merch she tends to be next to in the tech section?  There was a surprisingly large amount of figures, collectibles, Funko Pops, etc in the Target I checked out today.  I think I looked pretty thoroughly, but I didn't see her, nor a price tag for her.  Unless that Target just doesn't have her out yet.

When I found mine she was just with the other Stranger Things merch by the Funko display by the books.

This is why I don't trust the word "worldwide". The world is so many countries, unless I read somewhere "GERMAN release" I won't even trust the word "European"

I checked 2 Targets today. One had ST Applejack at the back of the electronics section where the Funko Pops and other ST merch is but I didn't see her anywhere at the 2nd Target.

I haven’t seen this pony “in the wild” of Target yet, but I’d be happy to keep an eye out for anyone international who wants to buy her!

I keep checking out the stranger things section by the electronics, but so far no sign of her. I always try to look at the empty spaces too to see if there’s at least a price tag for her, but so far no luck. I still want a second one to take out of the box, her color scheme is so pretty!

Not totally related, but today in a box lunch store I saw they had a “my little pollywog” toy. With all the other mlp/stranger things stuff coming out I wonder if it was intentional.

Someone contacted Basic Fun about this. They replied that the were US Target exclusives

It makes sense I guess, that this is not a worldwide release. Even though the ST show is a Netflix one and is widely popular also outside the US, the pony itself seems to be a very specific merch for fans of the show (even though I am not a ST superfan, and I still love this pony!). Maybe they just didn’t anticipate her popularity, or maybe they thought she would be popular only as a limited release?

Anyway, I am sad that she wouldn’t be a worldwide release. But then again, I am fairly used to getting my collection stuff from the abroad anyway. It is very rarely I can buy collection pieces from the store

This is really cute! I would be all over it, if the ponies were from the first years- as they are my most favored ones. This definitely has its own charm though

Generally speaking, Target usually puts "Target exclusive" on their exclusive things. So I don't think it's unreasonable think that there might of been a potential for other retailers (specifically non-US) to pick it up.

But, literally there has to be a market for stranger things goods in general for that.

I thought though in this thread that someone said BF had said there was a worldwide release (although no picture of the conversation was added to confirm). So that's why I'm wondering where that statement came from.
